Christen Rocco and Kaitlin Virag first met while studying fashion design at Marist College. The two enhanced their knowledge of the industry by interning with top fashion designers and studying abroad, Christen at London College of Fashion and Kaitlin at Lorenzo Di Medici in Florence, Italy. After college both worked as designers at various fashion companies before deciding to go out on their own. 

In 2006, Christen and Kaitlin formed Hera Couture as a custom dress business. In March, 2007 the girls launched their first collection of day to night party dresses. Their vision was to create a classic, chic collection for today’s ‘lady’, using menswear inspired fabrics such as high quality cotton shirting and tie silks.  

In May, 2007, they opened their first boutique in Hoboken, NJ. Here one can find unique styles perfect for any occasion.
